Google Classroom Information
Google Classroom is a brand new product from Google that streamlines classroom assignments and allows students to receive feedback on their assignments easily. If students miss a class, they can easily catch up at home with Classroom. To sign in to Classroom follow these directions:
1. Go to http://classroom.google.com (or click the link!) 2. Make sure you are using your CMS Google e-mail address (@student.cms.k12.nc.us) and correct password (birthday as YYMMDD). It it doesn't work, double check that you are using your CMS ADDRESS and password, not your personal [email protected] address. 3. At the bottom click "I am a student". 4.Use the following codes for your block (use copy and paste -- crtl + c to copy, crtl + v to paste)
If you receive a score below 80%, you can sign up for test corrections to bring your grade up. In order to do this you must do the following (this is not negotiable!):
1. Let me know a few days ahead of time that you would like the opportunity to correct your test. 2. STUDY! This is your second and LAST chance to get a better grade and understand the concepts that you will have to know in high school! 3. Be prepared for the day that I have assigned your corrections. It will be during your lunch/PA time, or after school on Thursday. 4. If you received a worse score the second time around, the better score will be the one that is put in the gradebook.
Please be aware that you cannot do corrections to a test under these circumstances:
You have waited until the last day of the quarter to ask to retake the exam.
The exam was last quarter.
